Turn your experiences, knowledge, expertiseinto short-form video contentthat grows your career

A four-week live programme for people who want to create content around what they know

Content is a rare
career opportunity

Content is one of the few asymmetrical career opportunities available to us.

Most things you can do to advance your career are incremental: one more year of experience, a promotion, a slightly higher salary.

Creating content is different. You can spend three hours making a video that reaches the right people, but that single video could lead to press features, consulting gigs and a DM from someone you've admired for years.

If you're sitting on years of experience, hard-earned knowledge or insights from rabbit holes most never venture into, there's a huge opportunity sitting in front of you.

Think in Public

Think in Public is a four-week live programme for founders, operators and experts who want to make short-form video that builds their career, business and future opportunities.

  • 4-week sprint

This is an opportunity to go all-in for four weeks, post multiple times a week, and build real momentum.

  • Build the skills you need

You'll learn all the skills required to make great content via a mix of live workshops and self-paced lessons.

  • Get direct feedback

I’ll give you direct feedback on all your ideas and posts so that you improve week after week.

  • Do it alongside others

Posting online can feel daunting, but it’s much less so when you're doing it alongside others.

Who is it for?

This programme is for people who want to become knowledge creators (also known as “expert creators”): people making content about a field they’re knowledgeable in.

You don’t need a specific title to become one (think “expert-ish” rather than capital-E expert), but you do need real-life experience to draw from.

This is for you if…

  • Yes: You know creating content is a rare asymmetrical career opportunity but feel violently opposed to “becoming an influencer”
  • Yes: You want to make smart, credibility-building content that brings opportunities to you
  • Yes: You want to speedrun the learning curve so you can execute to a level that feels commensurate with your seniority

This isn’t for you if…

  • No: You’ve just graduated or are very early in your career
  • No: You think the answer to building an audience lies in hacks to “go viral” overnight
  • No: You aren’t willing to post consistently for at least a couple of months before judging results

About Miranda

When I left my leadership role at McKinsey’s creative consultancy in 2024, I had an empty Instagram profile, 100 LinkedIn connections and no idea what my next step would be. I’d spent the best part of a decade building brands, but somehow never got around to building my own.

Since then, I’ve grown an audience of 130k, built an independent brand consulting practice, spoken on numerous panels and podcasts and been featured in the Financial Times, Vogue Business and The Guardian.

I can honestly say I’ve opened doors I thought would take years to reach, and much of that I credit to one day spontaneously opening TikTok and creating the account @mirandadoesbrands.

Think in Public is everything I’ve learnt firsthand about being a knowledge creator, packaged into the programme I wish I’d had when I started out.

What people are saying

“Not kidding I saw the impact within the first few videos. After about 2 weeks of posting, I had my first viral video on TikTok and grew my Instagram to 3000 followers in just a month.

I love that you teach a very practical and systematic approach to things like hook writing, choosing topics, and analytics because that had been a mystery to me for months and now I never have to guess what I’m doing wrong.”

Your questions

Not in the world-leading sense. This is for anyone with lived experience, hard-earned knowledge or a deep interest in their chosen field. Documenting your learning as you go is also a legitimate path to take.

Many people post their first piece of content during the programme! It's always going to be daunting, but doing it alongside other people certainly makes it feel easier.

The programme is designed to fit around a full-time job. In the early stages, creating a single video can be more time-consuming than expected, but this will get quicker and easier with practice!

Yes, recordings will be shared immediately after every session so you can catch up in your own time.

No, all you need to get started is a phone.

You don't need to. This programme is about becoming visible, and that visibility brings the opportunities: job offers, speaking invitations, press, collaborations, or clients if you decide to become self-employed later.

Even better. Everything you learn applies directly to getting your business in front of more people.

Often, yes! In the pilot cohort, several people used their learning and development budget to cover all or part of the cost. to send to your manager.
